Conosco già molto bene Linux Mint, non proverò questo qui anche perchè la skin è brutta come la morte, e togliendo la skin rimane Mint (che poi è Ubuntu, che poi è Debian)... quindi, insomma...  :lol:

e la risposta è sempre la stessa... non tutto l'alfabeto, ma la C= :P

Cmq ho il lettore del fisso che mi sta dando qualche problema -_- ho provato però il dvd in live sul notebook...
Che dire, sembra un parco divertimenti per Commodoristi... ci sarà da approfondire... avevo la tastiera americana e non mi corrispondeva il tasto stamp per grabbare il desktop... molto migliore di quello che appare in vm postato da rebraist.
Me lo aspettavo più pesante a dire il vero, eppure questo nb che è estremamente peggiore dello Ion2 dei modelli base del c64x, gestiva tutto abbastanza fluidamente...

da non amante di linux...
credo che abbiano fatto centro con la loro utenza.
è un linux personalizzato di come l'avrebbe fatto non "commodore" ma un fan di commodore con tutti gli annessi e connessi.
non toglie nè aggiunge nella misura in cui è totalmente dipendente dalle vendite delle macchine cusa.
lo reincontreremo, e non potremo ignorarlo, se venderanno un certo numero delle loro macchinette...

Options to run Windows software

Commodore OS Vision also comes with WINE, which is a Windows compatibility layer capable of running some Windows software directly.

Mi rendo conto di non essere stato chiaro. Ovviamente sono totalmente d'accordo con te. :D

Ho voluto solo rilanciare con una massima che si trova spesso in alcuni fumetti un po' "sopra le righe" di un genio francese, Edika, che forse in pochi conoscono (in Italiana sono stati pubblicati da "Totem Comics"). :mrgreen:

Dai compari, ne abbiam già parlato altrove, probabilmente questo era l'unico modo possibile al momento per fornire qualcosa di più completo possibile all'utenza. In termini di possibilità, di sw pronto per fare un po' di tutto. Inoltre così è gratis e così la C= entra comunque anche nei PC di terze parti, rendendo in qualche modo "utenti C=" (potenzialmente) un casino di gente.
Si potrà sempre discutere e qualcosa che non va, che si poteva fare meglio ci sarà sempre ma ancora una volta mi pare che la nuova C= abbia fatto centro. Oltremodo...
Proviamo invece a vedere nei fatti che fa 'sto COS :lol: ... Tipo come vengono emulate le vecchie macchine C=, se il sw fornito funzia tutto bene (ce n'è di ogni tipo), se l'OS risulta stabile e svelto oltre che tamarrissimo nell'aspetto (ma come fa a non piacere?)...

Poi son curioso di sapere il numero di download  :think:
Io qua ho utorrent, mi dice 100% ma i 2 file sono "in seeding"... uff.  :roll:

Ora si fa quel che si può compare: occorre innanzitutto qualcosa di funzionale per l'utenza...
Per me onore quindi a chi "fa bene" o comunque del proprio meglio. Eh da qualche parte bisognava ricominciare no? :lol:
Cosa manca di quanto ci sarebbe attualmente? Aros si potrà sempre installare, altro non c'è.
E quanto c'è in più oggi, il COS Vision, è gratis, è per tutti... E sembra una gran figata :D

compari qua utorrent mi dice che ha scaricato il 100% di entrambi i files ma nella finestrella di download mi scrive "in seeding". Che vuol dire? Posso masterizzare le ISO o devo aspettare ancora?

penso che al giorno d'oggi se uno ci pensa bene, resta irritante tutta la scena amiga, perchè se si guarda a quello che è rimasto di quel computer cosi' speciale e rivoluzionario, la situazione è agghiacciante! Stesso discorso sul lato Commodore. E stesso discorso specialmente sul Commodore 64x, che per me doveva avere un hardware unico e non un case costoso con hardware configurabile (anche se limitatamente), questo per andare oltre la scocca e donarci l'idea di un computer uguale per tutti come lo era il 64.

Pero' questo Commodore OS, ha un feeling nostalgico che dona qualche emozione :) A me il trailer è piaciuto, non ho ancora provato l'OS, ma essendo gratis, meglio di un calcio nelle palle lo è  :lol:

Puoi, seeding è quando diventi la fonte principale perché hai il file completo
