beta 22 (12.12.2011)
 
- Added: ARexx port with 22 fully documented commands.

- Added: Basic sample editor. It has zooming, scrolling, cursor, block marking
  (with dynamic autoscroll on borders). Block cut, copy and paste operations
  with support of the system clipboard. Cursor in the editor moves when the
  instrument is played.

- Added: Track scopes. They are switched on by clicking right mouse button in
  the area below the level meter and above the pattern status bar. Scope colors
  are configurable in settings.

- Added: Single step playback. Forward (enter key) and backward (backspace key)
  with all effects played.
 
- Added: Single step playback auto synchronization feature. When enter key or
  backspace key is kept pressed, playback synchronizes to the module tempo and
  speed, also following Fxx (tempo and speed change) effects.
 
- Added: Realtime loop editing in the sample editor.

- Added: When an entry on instrument list is doubleclicked, the instrument is
  played at C-4 note.
 
- Added: Most of gadgets in the pattern edit block are now active.

- Added: Module name gadget and instrument name gadget. These names can be now
  edited.

- Changed: Volume slider is visible in the instrument editor too, while
  pattern status bar is invisible there.

- Changed: More documentation. DBM0 format specification moved to a separate
  guide.
 
- Fixed: Player engine. A note played with E3x (play backwards) effect was
  muted is the sample offset was zero.

- Fixed: Player engine. Vibrato table contained some corrupted entries.
 
- Fixed: DBM0 saver. Module and instrument names with full length (44 and 30
  characters respectively) were cut by one character.
 
- Fixed: DBM0 saver. Heavy memory trashing when saving instrument info.

- Fixed: UI themes improved (more images, some textures). Also small fixes in
  the user interface, proper labels capitalization etc.



beta 18 (11.02.2011)

- UI themes improved. Now theme is changed on pressing "Use" or "Save" in the
  preferences window. When used, theme will be back to the previous one after
  reboot, as expected. Saving makes theme settings permanent (in ENVARC:).

- Made themes fully working on AmigaOS 4.

- Default theme for AmigaOS 4.



beta 17 (08.02.2011)

- Basic UI themes support. When themes are changed, graphics elements are copied
  to SYS:Prefs/Presets/DigiBooster3/, fonts are copied to FONTS:, also MUI prefs
  file is copied over to ENV:MUI/. Theme config is also loaded. There are some
  unfinished things like 'Cancel' in config window does not restore old theme.

- Changes in module loading procedure. Now, when module is not modified or user
  confirms loading, current module is replaced with an empty one, then current
  is disposed. After that a new module is loaded. If loading was successful, new
  module replaces the empty one and empty one is disposed. After loading failure,
  empty module stays in place. This strategy lowers memory requirements and
  fixes some nasty crashes in the instrument list display hook.

- Fixed annoying "Module Loading Report" window. Now it is created statically,
  so no new one is created at every loading. The window is opened only if a new
  report message arrives, so it is not opened if a module is loaded without
  warnings. This window will be used in the future for all warning/error
  reporting.

- Fixed bug in playing engine. If in some row command ECx (note cut) was used
  and at the next row(s) on the same track the same instrument was played with
  3xx (porta to note) command, notes were muted.



beta 16 (21.01.2011)

- Fixed problem of resetting speed/tempo when adding or removing tracks
  and changing number of rows in pattern.

- Realtime display of current tempo and speed in hex (especially tempo in
  hex is useful, as the readout may be entered in Fxx command directly).

- Fix in sizing integer string gadgets (ones with two arrows).

- Ranges for multikey are updated on new/loaded module and also on manual
  change of number of tracks.

- New loop unroller for sample based instruments. Allows for realtime loop
  changes and supports "always stay in loop" feature for realtime editing.

- Fixed Bxx command, its parameter is hexadecimal, not decimal.

- Implemented sample offsets (9xx, E7x), sample offsets are additive.

DigiRoller is a standalone replayer for DigiBooster Pro 2.x and DigiBooster 3 music modules. Version 1.1 contains the latest replayer engine featuring AHI-independent DSP echo effect. It is backward compatible with old echo ("V", "W", "X", "Y" and "Z" commands are fully supported), but the effect is processed inside the engine, so it is always active. Echo in AHI may be safely turned off. Additional feature of the new echo (which will be used in DigiBooster 3) is a new echo mode (command "V2"), where each track can have independent echo parameters. Another new feature is phase assisted stereo panoraming. Positioning instruments with not only amplitude, but also small phase shifts improves the music experience.

DigiRoller 1.1 includes other improvements in the replayer as well: working sample offsets (commands "9" and "E7") and fixes to "B" and "D" commands. DigiRoller is a free program and may be found in the download section.
