This board is now assembled with the parts we want. Especially the main FPGA. I already ported the logic content to the new device and it already works.
In addition to that I was also able to confirm that the A500 keyboard connector is working

The 4mb of Sram is for the 060 CPU card only. (develper boards The Consumer version of the Natami will probobly come with the N050 inside the FPGA (SoftCore) and 512mb of DDR-2 ram. The level1 cache of the N050 will much be bigger than on the 060, so the need for ultra fast S-RAM might not be that important. The N050 softcore has proven to be the fastest Mc680x0 compatible FPGA implementation in the world.(In the simulator)

More boards for developers!
Sunday, July 31, 2011, 12:36 PM - MX-board, Chipset, 050-Softcore, CPU-Card
At Sunday the 17th of July Jens, Thomas and I met and
Thomas brought us 2 Natami MX boards! There will be even more
boards for driver development soon.

In the meantime, we will enhance the board usage documentation
from a developers perspective, to make it more easy for
other devs and testers to start. When Thomas arrived, we had
already prepared a HD, that started without problems connected
to the Natami.

Jens will also be busy with integrating his N68050
softcore into the design, which will make the still used
68060 card optional at some point.

Also note the S/P Dif connector that is assembled for
our boards as well as the passive CPU cooler on the 060.

un altra versione?

Allanon:
Spettacolo :)

Amig4be:
