As anticipated in my previous post I’ve created a simple tool to scan directories recursively, the main idea is to let you patrons share idea and features we can add to this tool.
In the screenshot you can see ther Windows version but I’ve also tested the AmigaOS3 version (RTG under WinUAE) and the AROS version.
In a few days I will publish here, accessible only for my Patrons, the source code where I’ve put a lot of comments to let you understand how HGui work and how simple it is to create such a tool.
I wish to let you learn as much as possible, so in the source code I’ve explained how recursive functions work and how I used recursivity to scan the sub directories.
I’m also posting a YouTube video where I show how it runs under WinUAE, but don’t expect miracles on basic 68k machines, at least for now 🙂
