FL Studio 12 For MAC – Alpha Test Version Available
Image-Line has announced the FL Studio 12 OS X ALPHA 0.1 TEST VERSION for MAC OSXusers. This version is a Native OS X of FL Studio 12, it’s not a Windows wrapped application.
Being a test version, the developer announces from the beginning that this application is very buggy AND is NOT ready for production work, have a lot of missing features, and it has great chances to crash quite often.
Below is a list of things that do not work in this version:
- Drag-drop from browser tree. (workaround: right click in tree and select from popup menu)
- Ogg-encoded wav files (we are working on it. .ogg files load fine though)
- VST/AU plugins (only the included FL plugins are supported)
- Proper retina scaling (now it scales so pixels are doubled in retina mode)
- Using multiple monitors (so far only working on primary monitor)
- MIDI input/output
Although this version is full of errors, is a very important step for Image Line and we think is a good start.
