16 Casio MZ-X500 Styles
Hello all!
Here we are again with some quality styles for the mighty Casio MZ-X500, I’ve spent a considerable amount of time trying to adjust them, balancing their voices and fixing wrong notes 🙂
These styles has been converted from for the MZ-X500 using the internal importer, but as you may know, this is not a simple hit-a-button-and-play operation. Sometimes the style markers are not recognized, sometimes, instruments are wrong, volumes need to be adjusted, and very often the drum track is scrambled because some percussions are mapped in a different way than the Casio map: this is the worst scenario because I need to fix all the wrong percussion’s notes using the internal event viewer, for all the intros, fills, mains and endings!
Some track where missing so I’ve tried to recreate them using the onboard sequencer, I hope you will like the results.
I’ve also included some xMas-theme rhythms as well 🙂
So, since I’m trying to raise the support for the entire MakeMusic! site, I offer my style pack of 16 Casio MZ-X500 styles for only 8.00 USD, it’s a very tiny price compared to how much time I’ve spent to convert them, it’s just 0.50 for each rythm for this amazing hybrid arranger!
All styles (rhythms in Casio language) have 2 intros, 2 endings and 4 variations.
I’ve recorded the styles so you can audition them before requesting them:

P.S.: Drop me a comment if you are interested in new voices, I’m working on new choirs because the stock ones in the MZ-X500 are not so great, also I’d like to add new strings to improve the overall quality of this “magic” keyboard 🙂

I hope this message finds you, I’m having trouble converting yamaha prs styles to casio mzx 500 and i have several rhythms that i really need to use.
Id like to know if do you do commission projects in converting those need rhythms, how much would it cost and how long will it take for you to produce it.

Non è possibile creare i cori jazz scat come ha la Roland Yamaha e Korg?
Si, è possibile, ci sono vari sistemi per creare quel tipo di style ma putroppo è molto macchinoso usare funzionalità avanzate, tra l’altro il formato AC7 non è documentato ufficialmente (almeno questo è quello che so). Forse in inverno avrò tempo di creare altri style 🙂
So che AC7 è un formato chiuso proprietario di difficile lettura, ma non so altro perchè non me ne intendo, sarebbe bello realizzare quaesto scat jazz choir è una cosa che manca alla Casio in generale. Saluti
Si guarda, anch’io sento moltissimo la mancanza di style aggiornati per la MZ-X500, spero tanto che qualcuno con le competenze adeguate riesca a creare un convertitore perchè per come è adesso la situazione ci vuole un sacco di tempo per creare stili decenti 🙂
Magari esistesse! ho cercato nel forum Casio ma come convertitore c’è un programmino per pc sviluppato da un gruppo di programmatori (ReStyle) che fa le stesse cose del convertitore SMF già presente nel casio mzx 500. Purtroppo siamo in pochi in Italia ad avere questa unità, che tra l’altro ho comprato 10 mesi fa usata con ancora le plastiche, cosa differente per l’america latina ed in particolare il Brasile dove è ancora venduta nuova, dove sono in contatto sui vari social, se vuoi scrivimi in privato.
