The archives are compressed using Zip format or in 7zip format, you can uncompress them using 7zip (download it from 7zip site it’s a free software), the archives are virus free.

YAMAHA STYLES
Generally speaking all PSR styles are all compatible and each PSR keyboard can load styles from any previous version released, while older keyboards can’t load newest styles.

i dont see the YAMAHA PSR 550
Hi Azeem,
no PSR 550 section yet but according to the manual the PSR 550 can load SFF1 styles which is the same format used by Tyros 1, PSR 9000, PSR 1500, PSR 3000 an many other “old” Yamaha arrangers. You can try to load these styles, they should work just fine.
I require style files in my yamaha psr E453…plis suggest me
The PSR E453 is a recent model and you should be able to load any Yamaha style however some may sound strange because of some special voices used from other keyboards. If this happens just edit the style and remap the wrong voices.

you have to uncompress the archive to extract the styles but about your keyboard you have to read the manual, I’ve never owned a PSR-273 🙂

Hi I am a newbie,
I just purchased Music Studio Arranger software by Sofeh and trying to load sounds and play styles.
however i notice most of the styles does not produce the best sounds, sometimes i could hear bells and whistles instead of the instrument sound.
My question is are these styles only mean to upload on a arrager hardware of if its possible to use it on a software arranger and if i am to upload any of the styles provided by Make Music, how to decide and where to find which instrument pack works best with it.

Hi Prasanna,
your questions cannot be easily answered by me, I’m sure that the styles works on hardware arranger keyboards but I cannot say if any software arranger, you should check what kind of style formats your fostware can handle and then you should download only that format.
The fact that you are heariung only whistle and bells is probabily caused by your software that0s misinterpreting the startup commands using to select the sound bank and the voice to use in a given track.

I signed up to Worldpress, as suggested. But what is the next step? Till now i’ve never received a pass or your site. What I’m willing is to download the 10 Style Dance Packs for the PSR S970. When trying, it still gives constantly the error “403 Forbidden”. Please give me advice to solve this inconvenience.

there is no need to sign to wordpress since this is a completely free website!
The error you are getting is because I’m slowly replacing an old plugin that was used to manage the downloads, there are still few packages that have not been fixed yet, sorry.
Unfortunately this is an hobby project and I work on it only when I’ve free time, please be patient 🙂
